Eric Zoller, Chair, founded Sixpoint Partners in 2007 as a specialist advisor focused on the private equity and alternative asset industry. Sixpoint has since grown into one of the nation’s leading advisory boutiques. Eric successfully sold Sixpoint to PNC Bank in 2019. During his career, Eric has represented clients in a variety of geographies and sectors including technology, industrial, distribution, healthcare, business services, consumer, aerospace and defense, and tech-enabled services. At Sixpoint, he helps to set the overall strategic direction of the company and is involved in all major operating, management, and investment decisions. Eric is an active member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) and is a frequent panelist and guest lecturer on the private equity industry. Eric earned undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
Doron Kessel, Vice Chair, works at GMK, a real estate investment and management company. He analyzes investment opportunities and assembles investor groups to purchase properties in the New York City metropolitan area. He served as an officer with the Israel Navy SEALs (Shayetet-13) and has also worked in the Israeli Secret Service. He continues to serve in the Israel Navy SEAL reserves. Doron earned a bachelor's degree in finance and management from the New York Institute of Technology.
Marc Wolf, Treasurer, is Chief Development Officer for the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY), which serves as the proactive central coordinating and resource organization for the Jewish community in the eight-county New York metropolitan area. Marc has more than a decade of fundraising experience in both Jewish and military not-for-profits, including the National Medal of Honor Museum, Navy SEAL Foundation, Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and UJA-Federation of New York (UJA). He is active in various philanthropic and civic activities including American Friends of Israel Navy SEALs, Jewish Theological Seminary’s Center for Pastoral Education, JFNA, UJA and Texas A&M Hillel. Marc is a former U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer and earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
Arlene Lane Fisher grew up on Long Island and served as an educator in the NYC Department of Education prior to raising two children with her husband Daniel and increasing her role as a philanthropist. Arlene served on the board of North Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospital and chaired its Partners for Women's Health, and today serves on Northwell Health's Board of Advisors. She has also served on the boards of Ronald McDonald House of Long Island and of the Speech and Hearing Society. Arlene and her family have supported AFINS since its first gala in fall 2016 and were inaugural members of AFINS' National Leadership Council. Arlene earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education at New York University.
Jeffrey S. Greener is a partner at Rivkin Radler LLP, where he helps clients protect, preserve, and pass on their wealth. Jeff’s practice encompasses estate and business succession planning, developing asset protection strategies, and assistance with elder law issues. He also counsels many non-profit organizations including public and private charities, and is experienced in structuring start-ups, obtaining exemptions, and advising on compliance and governance issues. Jeff has served as a board member and as chairman of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. In addition to his role as board member and of counsel at AFINS, Jeff currently serves as Deputy Mayor of the Village of Kensington, New York.
Sanford Heffner is an experienced private investor focused on investments in commercial real estate, public equities and fixed income. Sanford and his family have always been staunch supporters of Israel and of veterans issues. Sanford earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Brown University and an MBA degree from Columbia University. He resides in Manhattan with his wife and two children.
Arad Levertov co-founded and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Sunbit, a financial technology company providing transaction solutions to merchants and consumers. Prior to co-founding Sunbit, Arad was COO of Enova International, where he successfully managed an $800M business and led teams across product, marketing, strategy, HR, and operations. Arad served as an officer in the Israel Navy SEALs (Shayetet-13), where he honed the leadership skills he uses every day. He was one of the first Israel Navy SEALs to receive a college scholarship and understands firsthand the impact such resources can have on the professional and personal opportunities for alumni of the Unit. Arad earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ben Gurion University and an MBA degree from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
Geoffrey Levin, National Leadership Council Chair, is a Partner at Sidley Austin LLP, an elite global law firm with more than 2,300 lawyers in 21 offices situated in major commercial and financial capitals worldwide. Geoff has more than 25 years of experience representing clients across a number of industries in a variety of transactional matters. He concentrates his practice on complex business transactions and governance matters for private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. Geoff is a devoted supporter of Israel and believes strongly in bolstering networks for those who have served in the Israeli and US militaries.
Gustave K. Lipman serves as Chairman and a founder of Circadian Risk, a risk assessment software-as-a-service (SaaS) group providing security and safety professionals with the tools to assess, visualize and reduce risk to critical assets. Gustave previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Guardsmark, the fifth-largest security services companies in North America, until its sale in 2015, and then continued with Allied Universal as Senior Vice President, Integrations, until 2017. Gustave is a longstanding supporter of the Shayetet-13 community, a member of AFINS' National Leadership Council and an Ambassador for the US Navy SEAL Foundation, believing that for every special forces soldier deployed on a strategic operation, thousands of additional soldiers are kept out of harm’s way. Gustave serves on the board of the JCRC of NY and as Co-Chair of the Community Security Initiative, and on the New York Board of FBI InfraGard, the public-private partnership for critical infrastructure protection. Gustave also serves on the Board of Trustees of Deerfield Academy. Gustave is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Michael Olshan is the Founder of O-CORP, a New York-based private investment company where he serves as Managing Partner. Previously, he served as Managing Director at JANA Partners LLC, where he focused on hard asset investing and special situations. He also serves as a Director of Olshan Properties and The Olshan Family Foundation. Michael is a member of the Belfer Center's International Council at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government, and also sits on the Executive Committee for UJA Federation of New York. He earned a bachelor's degree with honors from Harvard University.
Mike Rosenberg is Senior Managing Director of Intrepid Investment Bankers LLC, which specializes in advising on merger and acquisition transactions and arranging private capital for middle market companies. Mike has more than 30 years’ experience in investment banking and corporate finance. He is active in various philanthropic and civic activities, including as founder and former president of Westcoast Sports Associates, which provides sports and educational opportunities to underprivileged children in Southern California. Mike earned a bachelor's degree with honors in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Alan Schall is a partner in a real estate firm specializing in development and management. He serves on the executive committees and boards of numerous educational and charitable organizations. Alan is deeply committed to all things Israel. One of his only regrets is not having served in the Israel Defense Forces so he now does whatever he can to support them. Alan earned a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.
Gil Tenzer is the Director for Real Estate and a founding member of Contrarian, an institutional money management firm including dedicated real estate funds. Prior to this, Gil was a senior analyst and co-head of the high-yield real estate group at Oppenheimer & Co. Gil notes Shayetet-13 is truly the tip of the spear for the Israel Defense Forces and he is truly awed with the personal risk and time commitments the unit’s soldiers undertake to defend the country of Israel. Gil earned a BSBA from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
